Author and Journalist Oriana Fallaci died today. I thought this would be interesting for you guys to read on the heels of the last post about the Pope's comments deameaning Islam.
(For anyone who doesnt know Fallaci, shes a controversial author who was accused of racism against Muslims. As a journalist, she interviewed many world leaders and was known for her brash and aggressive interviewing style.)

Thanks for the links. Lots to chew on in that Fallaci article.
One perplexing issue that often comes up in classes like this is "how far does tolerance go?" If you value tolerance, does that mean you need to accept others' intolerance? Fallaci clearly doesn't think so.
